Personality Tests and You

Just first: While this isn't related (actually, maybe it is) to the post, I really, really hate how Blogger is obsessed with left alignment. Does the New Post box really have to be left aligned? Why can't it be centered? This just feels awkward, Blogger!

Moving on.

So, I love personality tests. I've often entertained going to see a shrink just to see what they'd say about me (other than I'm a narcissistic little bitch, but otherwise). This morning, I found this personality test, so I took it!

The test itself was kind of jarring, since it asked questions like "Which is sin?" and "Which is impersonating you?" and weird things like that, and the images were blurry and pulsing. It kind of made me anxious for some reason, but I'm sure that's just a quirk of mine, and nothing to do with the test. Here's my results:

"Thoughtful to the extreme, you are often obsessed with perfection and the rules governing your own personal interests. Your world is black and white. You love to work within a logical system, such as language, computer programming, or mathematics. Manipulating a system that can be completely understood is a distinct pleasure to you, because of your confidence in the underlying veracity of your belief system. Because of your appreciation for logic and order, those who speak or think in a sloppy manner are apt to generate more than their share of wrath. Although very amiable, you are not drawn to friendships out of a sense of personal need. You are just as happy by yourself with a good book or puzzle. Because you are so involved with thought, you will on occasion have difficulty dealing with the day-to-day problems of a normal life. Taking out the trash, doing the dishes, these are often left until the last possible moment, if at all."

The bolded bits are very true, however I do have issues with the last sentence, since I'm kind of obsessed with getting things clean as soon as they're dirty. I'm also not a fan of it saying my world is black and white, since it's certainly not. I'm a big believer that we all live in a big blob of grey and there isn't a true "black" and "white" to things.

But other than that, it was an interesting quiz (and only 20 questions, so hey! a quickie!) I suggest you guys go take it and tell me what you think.
